Haryana PMT Application Form Details 2014-15

Pre Medical Test (PMT 2014 is an entrance test for admission to bachelor
medical and dental courses MBBS/BDS/BAMS in the medical and dental institutes
of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Haryana PMT 2014 is conducted by
Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak for admission in all the affiliated
private and Government medical and dental colleges. Haryana PMT can only be
given by the candidates having Haryana domicile.
There
are 10 medical and dental institutes in Himachal Pradesh in which admission is
through Haryana PMT. Of these two of the institutes provide MBBS: Government
Medical College, Rohtak and Pd. Bhagwan Dayal Sharma Postgraduate Institute of
Medical Sciences. There are five institutes which provide BDS and three which
provide BAMS.
Type of Exam: State Level examination
Education Requirements: For admissions
to MBBS and BDS courses the candidate must pass in the 12th (HSC) class
examination with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks in the subjects of
Physics, Chemistry and Biology, in case the candidate belongs to a reserved
category this percentage would be 40% .
Exam Pattern: No separate exam shall be conducted
for Haryana PMT 2014 but AIPMT 2014 scores will be utilized for taking
admissions in the various medical and dental colleges of the state government.
Selection
Procedure: Candidates need to fill in Haryana PMT 2014
Application Form and appear in AIPMT 2014 Exam only. Since Haryana State Board
has decided that no separte exams other than AIPMT 2014 shall be conducted for
admisisons in the medical and dental colleges of the state. Haryana Government
shall be utlizing AIPMT 2014 score card for the counselling procedure.
Application Procedure:
- The Application form for HARYANA PMT 2014 can be downloaded from the official website filled.
- The candidate can also fill the form by acquiring the form after making a cash payment at designated centers.
- After filling the form, it has to be sent to the Association along with the DD of payment of Application Fee.
