Exam Details:
The clerk exam syllabus same with the other bank syllabus, slightly some variation in syllabus with bank to bank. Totally the bank exam syllabus consists basic concept and structure of subjects. The given below Punjab National Bank clerk syllabus may also cover basic concepts for the written test of objective and descriptive Papers.

Objective Test: Punjab National Bank Objective test syllabus may cover the following subjects.
1. Reasoning – analytical reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, directions etc………
2. English – paragraph questions, grammar & usage etc………
3. Computer & marketing – basics of computers, financial and marketing concepts etc………
4. Quantitative aptitude – probability, squares, cubes, data presentation, time and distance, commission, profit & Loses etc….

Descriptive test: Descriptive test contains English composition.

Exam Pattern:
Punjab National Bank exam pattern consists in the following ways

1) Written test: written test will be conducted through A) Objective test B) descriptive test
A) Objective test: objective test contains 4 papers, the candidate has to qualify in each paper.
a. Test of quantitative aptitude
b. English
c. Test of reasoning
d. Marketing & computer

B) Descriptive test: After the objective test, descriptive test will be conducted it will be conducted on English.
2) Interview: The merit list will be prepared from the selected candidates of written test. The merit listed candidates will be called to attend the interview.


How to get the application Form:
The advertisement can be viewed at the Bank’s website www.pnbindia.in

The Candidates need to apply online on the Punjab National bank’s website.

No other means/mode is permitted

Candidates should log onto website www.pnbindia.in and click on the Link>Recruitment

The transaction ID provided by the branch after deposit of fee must be quoted in the application and the original cash voucher must be submitted along with copy of application submitted online and the interview call letter at the time of personal interview

The candidate should have a valid personal email ID and mobile number

The postal address/email ID/mobile number should be same as registered online at the time of common written examination held in 2011

This will enable him/her to receive call letter/ interview advice etc by email/SMS

Registration of application on website www.pnbindia.in will open from 26th September, 2012 and the last date for registering applications on-line is 10th October, 2012

On-line applications are to be processed by a computerized system

Hence, it is essential that the application is properly and completely filled in/submitted

Candidates should keep a printout of the duly submitted application

The same is to be submitted along with the fee/intimation charges deposit voucher at the time of interview if called for

Call letters for personal interview are to be downloaded from the Bank’s website www.pnbindia.in from the date to be announced later.
