Exam Details:
CMAT is a computer-based test (CBT) which will be conducted twice a year. Eligible Candidate to appear in both the exams and the best of the two scores will be used for to Management programs kind of PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma Management), MBA (Master of Business Administration). Common Management Admission Test is a national level admission test for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE for the year 2013-14.

About CMAT:
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an online computer-based test conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India. It is a national-level admission test for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE. The first edition of CMAT will be conducted in 2012. For 2012, there are around 4 lake seats in the AICTE-approved management programs in India, which will be covered by the test.

Exam Pattern: CMAT will be a 3.00hours (180 minute) online exam. The exam will consist of 4 sections - Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, Data Interpretation and General Awareness. Each section will contain 25 questions of total 100 marks. There will be a negative marking system where 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. A Trial test will be available from 1st November 2012.

How to get the application Form:
You should have the following ready before starting the CMAT registration process:

A.) All your qualification details as you need to enter them while registering for CMAT exam.

B.)
You need to upload your scanned photo while registering, hence keep ready a scanned clear photo of yours taken on a white background. The size of this photo should be 140 x 160 (60Kb).

C.)
You need to upload your scanned signature while registering, hence keep ready your scanned clear signature done on a white background. The size of this signature file should be 60 x 90 (30Kb).

D.)
A Valid e-mail id which you will be using at least for the next 6 months. All communication will be done on this e-mail id which you will enter while registering for CMAT exam.

E.)
A Printer connected to your system as you will have to PRINT 3 copies of challan in case you are planning to pay by CASH at the bank.
