Exam Details:
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has asking online applications from qualified and eligible candidates for filling up of the Clerical Cadre vacancies recruitment of Allahabad Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Andhra Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Bank of India, Punjab & Sind Bank and etc. bank in 20 Public Sector Banks. Those who are eligible candidates have to apply through online from 15 October 2012 to 05 November 2012.


About CWE:
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) acquired independent status in 1984. The credit to the initiative goes to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Nationalized Banks. Dr. Manmohan Singh who was the governor of RBI at the time, became the first Chairman of the Governing Board of IBPS. Prior to 1984, the institute was a unit of National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) and was called Personnel Selection Services (PSS). The exam is termed as the Common Written Examination.

Reasoning: 40 questions of 40 marks

2.
English Language: 40 questions of 40 marks

3.
Numerical Ability: 40 questions of 40 marks

4.
General Awareness: 40 questions of 40 marks

5.
Computer Knowledge: 40 questions of 40 marks

Exam time Only 2:00 hours (120 minutes) through Computerized Online exam. Total 200 marks & 200 question in IBPS (CWE).

How to get the application Form:
Eligible and qualified candidates have to apply through online from the www.ibps.in website between 15 October 2012 to 05 November 2012. No other mode of application will be accepted. The candidates follow the user guideline and instructions at the time of online apply.

Instructions for online apply:

1.
Before apply online candidates scan their photograph and signature.

2.
Candidates have a valid personal e-mail ID, incase candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, they should create new e-mail ID, before applying online, because all the details send to the e-mail ID.
 

3. Candidates are first required to go to the website www.ibps.in and click on the home page to open link Common Written Examination (Clerks).

4.
Candidates should carefully fill the details in the online application form at the appropriate places and upload their photograph and signature as per instructions.

5.
After upload the photograph and signature, a registration number and password will be generated, candidates should note down the registration number and password for future reference.

6.
After successfully submission of online application candidates should immediately take a print out of the system generated online application form for future reference and also take a printout of the system generated fee payment challan immediately and make payment at 7 Public Sector Banks as mentioned in the notification.
