ESIC (Employees State Insurance
Corporation) is a self-financing social security & health insurance scheme
for the workers of India. It holds examination for the DEO, LDC and
stenographer as well as staff nurse and Pharmacist.
Total vacancy: The no of posts
differs as per the vacancies.
Qualifications: The applicant will
have to have the qualification as per the posts. The DEO, LDC Stenographer,
Staff Nurse & Pharmacist must have qualification in their respective area.
Age Criteria: The age of the
candidate must be not more than 30 yrs. It may vary as per the posts
requirements. The age relaxation is applicable as per the rules of government.
Application Fees: As per the posts the
fee structure differs. It may vary from Rs.100/- to Rs.300/- as of now.
Pay Structure: The pay scale of the applicant will
Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- with Grade pay of Rs.5400/- the pay scale differs as
per the designation. The scale of pay is for the different posts are as per the
norms of ESIC.
Procedure to Apply: The applicant needs
to go to the online website of the ESIC www.esic.nic.in their form has to be
filled as per the posts. The vacancies in the states differ and the designation
differs. The applicant may visit official site to see the procedure of
applying.
Exam Pattern: Although the
examination pattern is equal for the each posts, the aspirant need to refer to
the official notification for the exact examination pattern as per the
post.
The examination is divided into 2 parts
that is Paper –I and Paper-II. The examination is of multiple choice questions
with objective answers of 2 hrs duration.
The Paper-I
is divided into 4 parts of 50 marks each making it to the total of 200 marks.
The Paper-II
is of Computer Skill test. For appearing in this applicant needs to clear the
Paper-I examination then only applicant can appear in this examination. Again
this paper is divided into 3 parts. The applicant needs to make 2 PPT (Power
Point Presentation) of 10 marks in the computer. Read more at

in second part applicant has to type a letter or paragraph or passage in about
150 to 200 words in MS Office of 20 marks. Finally in the third part applicant
has to make a Database or Table in the MS Excel of 20 marks. The total duration
is of 30 minutes.
Syllabus: The applicant has to
give the examination of ESIC. For this applicants need to study the Numerical
Ability, English Language, General Intelligence and General Awareness.

from the website of the ESIC
