About GCET MBA: Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) is an annual common entrance exam for MBA and MCA studies in Gujarat, India, since 2002. Every year it is conducted between March to August. Gujarat Technological University was inaugurated in October 2007. Then, it started conducting GCET. GCETMBA.com was started with an aim to provide up to date information about the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET). In a short time span of less than one year, more than 2 lakh visitors visited GCETMBA.com.

Exam Details: The Gujarat Technological University (GTU) will be conducting the Gujarat common entrance test (GCET)-2012. The test is conducted for admissions to Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Computer Applications (MCA). The competitive exam is conducted for admissions to the courses offered by colleges and institutes affiliated to the university. After the exam, a merit list will be prepared and students will be shortlisted for counseling. which will be held in the month of June 2012.



Exam Pattern: Exam Pattern for GCET MBA 2 section:


a.) This section carries 80 questions in total.
b.) The total time duration for this section is 64 Minutes.
c.) This section is divided into 3 parts, namely English Language Skill (20 questions). Quantitative Aptitude (30 questions) and Analytic and Logical Reasoning (30 questions)

Section II –

a.) This section carries 20 questions in total.

b.) The total time duration for this section is 16 Minutes.
c.) The questions in this section are from General Knowledge (20 Questions).
d.) For each right answer, a candidate will get 4 marks.
e.) For each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.


How to get the application Form: 1.) Eligible Candidates need to visit the official website of the university at http://www.gtu.ac.in for online registration. Candidates should download the Fee Challan form the website and get its printout.

2.) Candidates are required to make payment for the fees using the printed Challan Form at the designated branches of the bank mentioned on the university website.

3.) University has set up various help centers for the exam and the copy of the challan should be given to any of these help centers.

4.) Candidates can receive the information bulletin along with their User Id and password from the help centers.

5.) Online registration can be completed using User ID and password obtained along with information bulletin.
