About GUJARAT CET: Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) is an annual common entrance exam for MBA (Master of Business Administration) and MCA (Master of Computer Application) studies in Gujarat, India, since 2002. Every year it is conducted between March to August. Gujarat Technological University was inaugurated in October 2007. Then, it started conducting GCET.
Exam Details: Gujarat Common entrance Test (CET) is conducted by The Education Department, Government of Gujarat and it has assigned The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education to hold CET for admission into various courses such as B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology), B.E (Bachelor of Engineering), MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) Program in the state of Gujarat.
How to get the application Form: 1.) Application form is made available at www.gseb.org
2.) Candidates can get the prospectus & application form board's office at Vadodara and Gandhinagar, Nanpura, Surat, S G Dholakiya High School, Rajkot & T & TV High School. DD of Rs. 250/- should be sent to the Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar, payable at Ahmedabad.
4.) GUJCET application form for online registration will be made available from 13th December to 31st December, 2011. Candidates can apply online for Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2012 through gujcet.gseb.org.
5.) Candidates can logon to gujcet.gseb.org for application form by using the application number or user ID/password.
Exam Pattern: Eligible Candidates who have dream to be a part of Gujrat Common Entrance Test. It is a written test of 3.00 hours (180 minutes). There are 4 sections in test - Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology and details of the pattern of entrance exam is as follows:
1. Those who are appearing for Engineering course, has to attempt Physics, chemistry & Maths sections. And those who are appearing for Medical course has to appear for Physics, Chemistry & Biology sections.
2. There are 40 questions in each sections & each questions is of 1 mark. The admission in different private and government colleges as well as universities are decided on the basis of candidates" scores in Gujarat common Entrance Test (GUJCET).GUJCET test pattern of the common entrance test is given below:

3. GUJCET examination comprises of multiple choice questions with each questions carries four alternatives.
4. Eligible Candidates are required to appear for a different combination of subjects, according to their preferred field. GUJCET is conducted in the languages English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
