Exam Details: Maharashtra Post Graduate Medical Post Graduate Dental Common Entrance Test (MH PGM PGD CET) 2012 is an Entrance exam conducted by Maharashtra University. Maharashtra State conducts the PGM and PGD common entrance exam for the candidates admission for the Post Graduate Medical courses and the Post Dental courses such as MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), PG Diploma (Postgraduate Diploma) Program commencing session 2012-13.
About MH PGMPGDCET: Maharashtra state was separated on 1st May 1970, into two independent directorates namely The Directorate of Medical Education and Research & The Directorate of Health Services. Directorate of Medical Education and Research supervises the working of 42 institutions including Medical and Dental Colleges, Teaching Hospitals and Health Units under its purview in order to achieve optimum academic standards. Promotion of research in institutions is encourages.
Exam Pattern: PGM-CET paper will be of 3.30 hours (210 minutes) duration containing 300 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Questions will be of single best response objective type with four answer options. Each correct response shall be awarded one mark. There shall be NO NEGATIVE MARKING for wrong answers. Scratching, overwriting, tick mark, and multiple answers will be considered as wrong answers and no marks will be awarded to them.
How to get the application Form: Interested & Eligible Candidates admission to the PGM-CET will be required to submit single prescribed application form (which includes submission of manual form with attested copies of certificates and the computerized form). The information Brochure and Computerized Application Form will be available for sale at all Notified centers. The cost of the Information Brochure along with Computerized Application Form of PGM-CET and the examination fee is Rs.1800/- to be paid by a Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn on any nationalized/scheduled commercial bank in favor of the “Director, Medical Education & Research, Mumbai” payable at Mumbai.
