Exam Details:
The Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER), Mumbai exam dates for Maharashtra Super Speciality Entrance Test (MH-SSET) 2012 is conducted by DMER, Government of Maharashtra in order to take admission into various super-specialty courses like DM (Doctor of Medicine) / M.Ch (Master of Surgery), offered at Government/Corporation Medical Institutions in the state of Maharashtra. which will be conducted in the month of June 2012. The MH-SSET entrance exam will be held on 03, June 2012.

 

About MH SSET: Maharashtra state was separated on 1st May 1970, into two independent directorates namely The Directorate of Medical Education and Research & The Directorate of Health Services. Directorate of Medical Education and Research supervises the working of 42 institutions including Medical and Dental Colleges, Teaching Hospitals and Health Units under its purview in order to achieve optimum academic standards. Promotion of research in institutions is encourages.

 

Exam Pattern: MH-SSET 2012 (Maharashtra Superspeciality Entrance Test) would give a fair chance to all eligible generalists to compete for the coveted seats. The entrance examination will have 150 multiple - choice questions (MCQs), each carrying 1 mark. Questions worth 100 marks will be asked from subjects included in the MBBS course. The remaining 50 marks worth questions will test your respective broad specialties (MD or MS).

The duration of MH-SSET 2012 will be 2.30 hours (150 minutes). The medium of exam will be English.

 

How to get the application Form: The information Brochure and the Application Form will be available for sale at the following offices of the Designated Authorities, from 14th – 24th May 2012 excluding Sundays and Government Holidays. MH-SSET 2012 application forms sent through courier / Post will not be accepted.

1.
Candidate should keep one Xerox copy of his/her Application Form (duly filled in) for future reference.

2.
The Receipt cum Identity Card will be issued at the time of acceptance of the form. The candidate is required to preserve the Receipt cum Identity Card for all future references.

3.
No Original Certificates or attested photocopies are required to be submitted along with the application form. However all original certificates should be shown at the time of submission of the application form to decide eligibility.
