Exam Details: NBARD (National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development) was setup to extend facilities for development purposes to agriculture,small scale industries & allied industries.Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment of officers and staff in RRBs will be conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in 2012-2013. It was established on 12th July 1982 by a special act by the parliament and its main focus was to uplift rural India by increasing the credit flow for elevation of agriculture & rural non farm sector and completed its 25 years on 12th July 2007.
About NABARD: National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is an apex development bank in India having headquarters based in Mumbai (Maharashtra) and other branches are all over the country. The Committee to Review Arrangements for Institutional Credit for Agriculture and Rural Development (CRAFICARD), set up by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) under the Chairmanship of Shri B. Sivaraman, conceived and recommended the establishment of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
How to get the application Form: Interested & eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format given in the advertisement, application should be in A4 sheet in type written or neatly hand written in Hindi or English, together with attested copies of all relevant documents, latest passport size photograph should be pasted on the right hand top corner of the application to the following address by ordinary post/speed post, The Officer-in-Charge, NABARD, Sikkim Regional Office, Om Ni-was, Church Road, Post Box No.46, Gangtok-737101.on or before 25/06/2012.
Exam Pattern: Eligible candidates for the recruitment of staff in Regional Rural banks shall consists of a Common Written Exam that will be conducted by IBPS. Successful candidates in the Written Exam will be issued Scorecards on their performance and subsequently they will be called by Bank's. Desired Candidates are required to fulfill the Eligibility criteria of Rural Bank for which they are applying.
National Bank for Rural and Agricultural Development (NABARD) will supervise the whole Selection Process of CWE of IBPS.
