Exam Details: Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan conducts the Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) for admission into first year Engineering /Architecture and Pharmacy programs offered B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Arch by various government aided and private colleges /institutes across the state. Most of the universities in the state accept the Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test scores. which will be conducted in the month of May 2012. The RPET entrance exam will be held on 17th May, 2012.
About RPET: Rajasthan Technical University was established in 2005 to impart Technology / Engineering education to students aspiring to be an engineer from the state of Rajasthan. It conducts Rajasthan Pre-Entrance Test (RPET) to intake admission into various B. Tech. programs into its various colleges all over Rajas than. The official name for the entrance test is Rajas than Pre Entrance Test (RPET) for Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy (RPETEAP). Admission into any engineering/ architecture college/institution in Rajas than whether a government aided or not accept RPETEAP merit ranking.
How to get the application Form:
1.) Desired candidates can apply in prescribed application format given in the advertisement and only submitted to nodal centers, please do not send via courier or speed post.
2.) Cost of RPET-2012 Application Form is Rs. 800/-. It also includes the RPET-2012 examination fees.
Exam Pattern:
A.) RPET 2012 shall consist of single examination of three hours duration containing 40 objective type questions in each of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
B.) The total number of questions will be 120 carrying one mark each.
C.) There is no negative marking for wrong answer.
D.) The questions in the test booklet will be in Hindi as well as in English. However, in case of any difference in Hindi and English versions of question, the questions in English version shall be treated as valid.

Date of commencement for filling of the online application: 15/03/2012
Last date for the submission of application form: 09/04/2012.
RPET 2012 will be held: 17/05/2012.
