SCRA (Special Class
Railway Apprentices) is holding examination for the position of Special Class Apprentices in
Mechanical Dept of Indian Railways that will be conducted by UPSC (Public
Service Commission).
Union Public Service
Commission (UPSC) will be releasing the Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam
(SCRA) 2014 result shortly. Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam (SCRA) 2014
was held on 12, January 2014.
Educational Qualifications: 1st or 2nd class inter pass with Maths and
Physics/Chemistry, Graduation with Maths and Physics/Chemistry with 1st or 2nd division.
Age Criteria: The age of the applicant should be more than
17 years of age.
Application Fees: The applicant beesides female aspirant will have to the amount of
Rs.100/- as a fee. The fee charges should be submitted in form of cash in State
Bank of India or by net banking or by ,
State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur or State Bank of Hyderabad or State Bank of
Patiala or State Bank of Mysore or State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa or
Master Credit or Debit Card.

Hyderabad, Patna, Aizawl, Imphal, Port Blair, Allahabad, Itanagar, Raipur,

Selection Procedure: Written examination will be followed by interview.

Exam Pattern: The examination is divided into 3 parts
Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III.

Paper-III Mathematics, Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytic
Geometry, Differential calculus, integral calculus and equation, vectors and
its applications, statistics and probability
Admit Card: The applicants appropriate for the
examination will get the e-Admission card. The card can be obtained from the
website of the UPSC www.upsc.gov.in. it
will be made available on the website 3
weeks before he examination. If not, then applicants are advised to contact the
concern authority.
