Exam Details: Students who successfully applied for Symbiosis International University Entrance Test SET 12/08/2012 are hereby informed that the SET Admit Cards will be issued by the Symbiosis International University from 09/07/2012. It is a mandatory written test for the admission process for the undergraduate programmes of the following Symbiosis institutes. However SET is not mandatory for the Symbiosis institute of Technology (SIT), Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS), Symbiosis College of Nursing (SCON) and Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts (SSLA).
About SET: Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for the admission processes of undergraduate institutes of Symbiosis International University established as under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 vide notification No.F.9.12/2001 U.3 of the Govt. of India. In the year 2002 there were 3 constituent institutes, subsequently ten more Institutes of Symbiosis have been brought under the ambit of Symbiosis International University.
Exam Pattern:
1.) The SET 2012 entrance exam is an objective type exam, which is of 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes) duration. SET is conducted in two sessions for FIVE question papers. Eligible candidate can apply to take one paper from each session.
2.) SET is an aptitude test and objective in nature for all the papers. Each question has four options as answers. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. All sections are Mandatory.
How to get the application Form:
1.) Fill all the information carefully as per the given instructions.
2.) Once you fill all the details, click on the "Submit" button.
3.) If you want to update any filled information you can update it by clicking on Update button or if your filled information is correct then click on "Upload Photo", where you have to select the image file for your passport size photo(50kb JPG File) for uploading. Please confirm the file name & check the image before uploading to the system. Please check that you have uploaded theimage of your photograph only.
4.) After successful uploading of photo, system will generate the unique Application Number for your application, which you have to note down.
5.) After submitting the application & Uploading the photo, you can take the printout of Filled Application form by clicking text "Click here to take the Printout".
