Exam Details: Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET) Entrance Exam 2012 for various at Certificate, Diploma, Degree, M.Tech., MBA & Ph.D. levels Program. The admission to all the courses in Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology are through a National Level SLIET Entrance Test (SLIET) is a Deemed University and a national level institute established by Government of India through Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Institute offers unique modular pattern of education in various branches of Engineering & Technology.
About SLIET: Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) is an institute of technology in Longowal city, Sangrur district, Punjab, India. The institute is located on 451 acres of land provided by the state government of Punjab. The institute is an autonomous university fully funded by the government of India and controlled by SLIET society, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The institute awards its own certificates, diplomas and degrees approved and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)and NAAC.
Exam Pattern: There will be only one paper of 2 hours & 30 minutes duration of 150 marks for all the SETs separately.
1.) There shall be a common test for SET-II & SET-IV. Similarly, there shall be common Test for SET-III and SET-V. The syllabi and distribution of marks for SET-I, SET-II / SET-IV, SET-III / SET-V, SET-VI, SET-VII and SET-VIII are given in the Chapter-III, IV, V, VI, VII and VIII respectively. 2.) There will be objective type questions with four options having single correct answer. For each incorrect response, 0.25 (1/4) of the total marks allotted to the question would be deducted. No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if no response is indicated for an item in the OMR Answer Sheet.
3.) More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect response and will be negatively marked. All objective type questions are required to be answered on OMR answer sheet to be provided at the time of examination. Answers are to be marked using ball point pen (balck / blue) only.
How to get the application Form:
1.) SLIET Online Application Form available on our website www.sliet.net.in. Candidate shall log on to that websites and click proceed from SET – 2012.
2.) After successfully submitting SLIET Online Registration Form for SET – 2012, note down Form Number for future reference.
3.) The processing of SLIET Application Form will begin only after the successful payment of Application Fee. Select from a mode of fee payment and make the payment. Once the payment is confirmed, the online Registration Page for PRINT shall be available to the candidate.
4.) The SLIET Registration Page duly filled in should be sent to
