About TET:
The Government of Gujarat will conduct Gujarat Teachers Eligibility Test (GTET) 2012 also known as Gujarat TET, as per the formalities laid down by the central regulating authorities. Gujarat TET is for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Gujarat. GTET 2014 notification will be released by the Department of School Education, Gujarat OR concerned examination board as directed by the Government of Gujarat.

Exam Details:
Gujarat State Government is going to be conducting Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) from this year, the Gujarat TET 2015, which is conducting written test on 10/06/2015. Applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates for appearing in Gujarat State Teacher Eligibility Test 2015. The Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test 2015, examinations for Teacher of Languages in Hindi English, Gujarat and Sanskrit and Science/ Maths subjects in upper primary teacher. Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test 2015 for higher secondary teacher will be taken on June under the District Education Board Officers.


How to get the application Form:

1.) Application form of TET 2015 will be available online from website http://ojas.guj.nic.in/.

2.)
Application fee is Rs 500 which you have to pay at any AXIS bank branch. Application form will be available online on website from 24th May to 2nd June.

3.)
Candidates need to apply online on website before 2nd June.

4.) In addition to that candidates need to scan their recent photograph signature in JPG format and need to upload it at the time of online application.

5.)
Now upload your photo and signature in the upload section.

6.)
Now click on the payment and enter your AXIS bank payment slip number for your Rs. 500 Demand draft.

7.)
Remember to fill all the details in English only.

Exam Pattern:
GTET consists of two objective type question papers. Each paper will consist of 150 MCQs and each question carries 1 marks totaling for 150 marks. Following are the details of question papers:

Paper I:
To become teachers for classes I-V in Gujarat primary school.

Paper II:
To become teachers for classes between VI and VIII in Gujarat upper primary school.

Paper I and II:
For Eligibility candidates who interested in teaching from Class I to VIII. They can appear for both the papers and have to get qualifying marks to be considered for all the classes.
