About ITBP: The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is an Indian force conceived on
24/10/1962 for security along the India's border with the Tibet
Autonomous Region of China, border covering 2115 kilometres. It is one
of the Central Armed Police Forces. The first Director General of the
ITBP was Late Sardar Balbir Singh (itbpolice.nic.in). This was also his
brain child along with his colleagues. ITBPF is a specialized mountain
oriented Force and most of the officers & men are professionally
trained mountaineers and skiers.
Exam Name which is going to be held: Assistant Commandant (Engineer) (Group A Non ministerial Combatised Post)
Educational Qualification: Desired & Eligible applicants can be completed in Under Graduate & Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
Selection Procedure: General & Interested applicants can be selected on the basis of Preliminary physical Screening, PET, Written Test, Interview & Detailed Medical Exam.
Application Fee Details: - Eligible applicants can to pay the Application fee of Rs.50/-in the form of Bank Draft payable to the Accounts Officer, Director General, ITBP, New Delhi. No fee for SC/ST applicants.
