About MPMET: The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board was initially set-up as Pre Medical Test Board by Government of Madhya Pradesh in the year 1970. Later, in the year 1981, Pre Engineering Board was constituted. Soon after, in the year 1982 both these Boards were amalgamated and named as Professional Examination Board (P.E.B.). Professional Examination Board by Govt. Order No.1325-1717-42-82 dated 17/04/1982 has been assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission to various colleges in the state.
Exam Details: M.P. Professional Examination Board, Bhopal exam dates for Management Entrance Test (MET), for admission to Master Degree courses MBA 2 years full time Master of Business Administration and allied course and 3 years full time Master of Computer Application (MCA) in A.I.C.T.E approved institutions in Government, institutions declared autonomous by the state government, government aided institutions, self-financing autonomous and unaided institution in Madhya Pradesh. The MET entrance exam will be held on 18/03/2012.
1. Written Test : The test has 200 objective questions with each question having four answer options. Each question carries 1 marks and there is no negative marking.
Test Duration:- 2 hours 45 Minutes (165 minutes).
The entire paper covers 6 major sections:-
A.) Business Data Interpretation: 20 Questions
B.) Business Judgement: 20 Questions
C.) Data Sufficiency: 20 Questions
D.) Numerical Ability: 50 Questions
E.) Reading Comprehension: 30 Questions
F.) Verbal and Writing Ability: 60 Questions
2. GD (Group Discussion) & PI (Personnel Interview):- 50 Marks

Educational Qualification:
For MBA courses: Desired students seeking admission to Master of Business Administration and allied courses can be a Post Graduate with at least 50 percent marks and 45 percent marks in case of SC, ST, and OBC category of Madhya Pradesh.
For MCA course: Applicants seeking admission to Master of Computer Application course should be a Post Graduate with at least 50 percent marks and 45 percent marks in case of SC, ST, and OBC (excluding creamy layer) category of Madhya Pradesh.
For MCA course: Applicants seeking admission to Master of Computer Application course should be a Post Graduate with at least 50 percent marks and 45 percent marks in case of SC, ST, and OBC (excluding creamy layer) category of Madhya Pradesh.
