Chief Engineer Headquarters, Northern Command, Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for filling up the post of 208 Mates (Semi Skilled) in various trades. The eligible Indian citizens who possess the requisite qualification may apply as per given terms and conditions.

Trade-wise Vacancies:
1. Mate (Electician) – 67 Posts
2. Mate (Refrigerator Mechanic) – 10 Posts
3. Mate (Fitter General Mechanic) – 67 Posts
4. Mate (Vehicle Mechanic) – 03 Posts
5. Mate (Pipe Fitter) – 31 Posts
6. Mate (Carpenter) – 12 Posts
7. Mate (Painter) – 04 Posts
8. Mate (Mason) – 14 Posts
Essential Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent examination passed from recognized Board/Institution and ITI pass certificate from a recognized Institute in a relevant trade.
Age Limitation: Candidates belonging to General category should be aged in the range of 18-27 years. Relaxation in upper age limit extendable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years by OBC. Ex-Servicemen & Physically Handicapped candidates will get relaxation as per rules. The cut-off date for computation of age shall be the closing date of receipt of applications i.e., 10.11.2015.

Pay Scale: Rs 5,200-20,200 + Rs 1,800/- (Grade Pay)
Hiring Procedure: Selection of suitable candidates will be done through written test & Interview.
How to apply: Candidates satisfying all the conditions of eligibility shall submit their Application in the format given in the annexure which shall be either hand-written in bold capitals or typewritten on A-4 size paper only. The copy of proof of age, qualification, community, mark-sheet of Board/ University, etc, must be enclosed along with the application form. The duly complete application attached with all the enclosures covered in an envelope affixed with Rs 60/- stamp should reach the concerned CWE within stipulated date as specified.
