Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society
(GMERS) is organizing walk-in-interview for the posts of Professor, Associate
Professor and Assistant Professor in various subjects indicated below. Eligible
and keen professionals are requested to attend walk-in-interview scheduled to
be held between 28.03.2016 and 21.04.2016. The details regarding qualification,
age, pay scale, schedule of interview has been stated below:-

1. Professor – 38 Posts
2. Associate Professor – 61 Posts
3. Assistant Professor – 67 Posts
Subjects:
The prospective applicants applying for the posts of Professor/Associate
Professor & Assistant Professor will be required to possess qualification in
any of the speciality in Pharmacology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, TB
& Chest, Skin & VD, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Obst. Gynecology, Surgery,
Radiology, Anesthesia, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Pathology, Physiology,
Biochemistry, Community Medicine
Place
of Posting: The selected academicians will be
placed in seven GMERS Medical Colleges located Sola-Ahmedabad, Gotri-Vadodara, Dharpur-Patan,
Valsad, Junagadh, Himmatanagar, Junagadh and one proposed Medical College at
Vadnagar.
Restriction
in Age: The maximum prescribed limit of age for the
posts mentioned above will be as follows:-
- Professor – 50 years
- Associate Professor – 45 years
- Assistant Professor – 40 years
Relaxation in upper limit of age will be
allowed to ST, SC, SEBC, PH and Women candidates in accordance with the rules
and directives of the Government.
Requisite
Qualification: The applying persons should have
educational qualification and teaching experience as per recruitment rules of
the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS).
Pay
Scale (per month):
1. Professor – Rs. 37,400-67,000 + GP Rs.10,000/-
2. Associate Professor – Rs. 37,400-67,000 + GP
Rs.9,000/-
3. Assistant Professor – Rs. 15,600-39,100 + GP
Rs.7,000/-

How

person bringing bio-data in the prescribed format (download from www.gmers.gujarat.gov.in)
along with requisite certificates and testimonials in original as well as one
set of certified copies of the same.

MBBS/BDS,

Certificate issued by competent authority,

Registration Certificate issued by competent authority,
(v) Caste Certificate (applicable only to
domicile of Gujarat),
(vi) Non Creamy Layer Certificate issued on or
after 1-4-2015 (For SEBC Candidate),
(vii) School-Leaving Certificate/Birth
