from male applicants for filling up the empty job positions of Constable Driver
for deployment in various districts in the state of Tripura through recruitment
rally. Candidates meeting the referred norms of eligibility may apply as per
given terms and conditions.

Eligibility
Criteria:-
Nationality
– Should
be an Indian citizen.
Requisite
Educational Necessity – VIII pass for ST candidates
and Madhyamik or equivalent examination pass for rest of all.
Other
Essential Conditions – Must have a valid license
for LMV/HMV with three years of experience in driving and maintenance of motor
vehicles.
Physical
Standard –
(i) Height – 162.56 cms for ST and 16.64 cms
for others
(ii) Chest – 76.2 cms (unexpanded) / 81.28 cms
(expanded) for ST candidates & 78.74 (unexpanded) / 8.82 cms (expanded) for
others.
Age
Limitation –
- The aspiring candidates within the age limit of minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years of age as on 01.01.2016 are eligible to apply.
- SC/ST candidates to get age relaxation up to 05 years.
- Relaxation in upper age limit up to 02 years will be allowed for candidates possessing Graduate degree.
Provision
of Pay: The persons selected for the post of
Constable Driver will be offered salary in the Pay Band-2 Rs. 5,700 – 24,000/-
with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,100/- per month. In addition to the basic pay, other
allowances and benefits as admissible to the employees of Tripura State Govt. will
also be paid.
Pattern
of Selection – Selection process will a
combination of following stages:-
(i) Endurance Test – 100 mtr Run/ Long Jump /
Shot Put / Pull Ups / High Jump
(ii) Practical Test – Driving Test/Knowledge
of motor mechanism & ability to carry out minor repairs of motor vehicles
(iii) Written Test – General Knowledge &
simple type arithmetic questions
(iv) Interview/Viva-voce Test
(v) Medical Examination
Procedure

their duly filled up applications in the prescribed format along with all the
original certificates and testimonials as well as one set of attested copies of
the same, three recent passport size photographs.
