Office Delhi Circle Recruitment 2016
Office of the Chief Post Master General,
Delhi Circle, has proclaimed an employment notification for direct recruitment
of Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, Postman and MTS posts under sports
quota. Selected candidates are liable to be posted in any post offices, Railway
Mail Offices in the Delhi Postal Circle.
Eligible and meritorious sports personnel fulfilling the required
eligibility criteria can submit applications on or before August 24, 2016 to
the address specified below.
Name
& No. of Posts:
1. Postal Assistant – 16 Posts
2. Sorting Assistant – 07 Posts
3. Postman – 28 Posts
4. MTS – 15 Posts
Prescribed
Educational Requisites:
- Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant – 12th class (10+2) pass from recognized board/institution
- Postman – Matriculation from recognized board/institution
- MTS – Matriculation or ITI from a recognized Board/institution
Sports
Qualification: Candidates should fulfill the
requisite sports qualification as required. Refer to official advertisement for
complete information.
Limitation
of Age:
Candidates applying for MTS should be within the age limit of 18 years to 25
years whereas candidates who are applying for Postal/Sorting Assistant &
Postman job, the range of age should be 18 years and 27 years. Age will be
calculated as on 24.08.2016. Relaxation in upper age limit of up to 5 years
will be considered for SC/ST candidates and up to 3 years for OBC candidates.
Pay
Scale:
- Postal/Sorting Assistant – Rs. 5,200 + 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/-
- Postman – Rs. 5,200 - 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/-
- MTS – Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1,800/-
In
addition to the basic pay & DA, other allowances and benefits as admissible
will be paid.
Cost of
Application:
Candidates of all categories are to pay non-refundable application fee Rs.
100/- in the form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) issued in the name of “Chief
Postmaster General, Delhi Circle” payable at the Post Office “New Delhi GPO,
New Delhi-110001”
Selection
Methodology:
Selection of suitable candidates is based on educational as well as sports
qualification.
How to
submit application:
Candidates keen to apply should obtain prescribed application proforma and fill
up properly. Duly filled up form along with attested photocopies of all the
relevant mark sheets and certificates pertaining to educational/sports
qualification, age, caste certificate (if applicable), original receipt of IPO
and 2 latest passport size photographs should be sent through registered/speed
post only to the address given below:-
