Income Tax Department Kerala (Sports Quota) Recruitment 2016-17
Income Tax Department, Kerala invites applications
from meritorious sports persons
who have represented
the Country/State/ University in the
International/National/Inter University Tournament for
filling up the posts of Inspectors of Income Tax, Tax Assistant and Multi
Tasking Staff under Sports Quota Recruitment 2016-17. Candidates fulfilling the
required eligibility criteria may apply on or before 15.09.2016 (30.09.2016 for
candidates residing in remote location). The details regarding Income Tax
Recruitment 2016-17 are indicated below:-

Eligibility
Conditions for Income Tax Department Recruitment 2016:
Requisite
Qualification: Candidate should possess Graduate
degree from any recognized university for Post No. 1 & 2 and Matriculation
or equivalent qualification for Post No. 3.
Sports
Qualification: Candidates should have participated in
the recognized tournaments / events in the calendar year 2016, 2015, 2014 and
2013 in the following descending order of importance:-
(i) International
Tournaments/Events like Olympics & World Championship,
(ii) International Tournaments/Events of regional
importance like Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games / Afro Asian Games,
(iii) Other International Tournaments / Events
like SAF Games.
(iv) Domestic Tournaments / Events of National
level of seniors like National Games, National Federation Games etc.,
(v) Domestic Tournaments / Events of National
level of Junior,
(vi) Inter University Tournaments,
(vii) National School Games,
viii) National physical efficiency /drive
certificate holders.
Age
Limit: Candidates should be within the age of minimum 18
years and maximum 25 years as on 01.08.2016. Age Relaxation will be given to
SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Govt. rules.
Pay
Scale (Pre-revised):
1. Inspectors of Income tax – Rs. 9300 – Rs. 34800
+ G.P Rs. 4600/-
2. Tax Assistants - Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200 + G.P
Rs. 2,400/-
3. Multi Tasking Staff - Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200 +
G.P Rs. 1,800/-
Mode
of Appointment: Selection will be based on the marks
scored by shortlisted candidates in the written test and field trials.
