Eligibility
Norms of Punjab Police Recruitment:
Educational
Requirement: Candidates should possess 10+2 or its
equivalent from a recognized Education Board/University and the applicant
should have passed Matriculation Examination with Punjabi as one of the
compulsory or
Age
Limit: Candidates within the age limit of 18 years and
28 years are eligible to apply. Crucial date for ascertaining age will be considered
as on 01.01.2016.
Relaxation
in Upper Age Limit:
For SC/ST/BC Candidates - 5 years
For Ex-Servicemen - 3 years
Mode
of Hiring: Selection process involves various phases as
mentioned below –
(i) Scrutiny of application forms,
(ii) Physical Trial & Physical Measurement
Test (PMT),
(iii) Sports Trial,
(iv) Counseling & Scrutiny of Sports

Rs. 700/- & SC/ST/BC candidates Rs. 300/- through Net Banking, Credit/Debit
Card or Challan. Ex-Servicemen are exempted from the payment of fee.
