Eligible Criteria for UPSC
Recruitment:
Educational Qualification:
For Lecturer: Master’s degree in relevant
language from a recognised University or Institution.
For Assistant Directors: Master’s Degree in Commerce
or Economics or Statistics or Mathematics from a recognized University or
Master’s Degree in Business Administration from a recognized University or
equivalent
For Scientist ‘B’: Master’s Degree in Botany /
Zoology / Microbiology / Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Physical Anthropology/
Forensic Science/ Genetics with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at
Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University OR Master’s Degree in
Chemistry / AIC by examination / Biochemistry / Forensic Science with Chemistry
as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized
University.
Age Limit: 35 years (As on 29.12.2016)
Age Relaxation:
For
OBC Candidates - 3 years
For
SC/ST Candidates - 5 years
For
PH Candidates - 10 years
Job Location: All India
Selection Process: Selection will be based on
Recruitment Test & Interview.
Application Fee: The candidates are required
to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by
cash, or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master
credit/debit card. SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
