EAMCET Exam 2013-14
EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance
Test) is organized by the JNTU (by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) Hyderabad for the admission in
the first year of the professional courses that are offered in the University.
It is affiliated to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Courses offered are:
* B.E., B.Tech or B.Tech in Bio-Tech or B.Tech in Diary Technology or B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering or B.Pharmacy.
* B.Sc. Agriculture or B.Sc. in Horticulture or B.V.Sc. & A.H./B.F.Sc.
* BAMS/BHMS/BNYS
* MBBS/BDS
* Pharm-D
Educational Qualifications:
The
aspirant applying for Engineering, Bio-Technology or B.Tech
in Dairy Technology or B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering or B. Pharmacy or B.Tech
in Food Science and Technology or
B.Sc. in Commercial Agriculture and Business Management-CA & BM:

The aspirant must have passed Inter examination
with Physics & Math and with Biotechnology or Chemistry or Biology
as an optional subject. Applicant must have at least 45 % f minimum marks.
The
applicant applying for B.Sc. in Ag or B.Sc. in Hort or B.V.Sc. & A.H. or
B.F.Sc. and B.Tech in FST or B.Sc. in CA & BM courses:

The applicant must have passed Inter for B.Sc. in Ag
applicant must have done Biological or Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences,
Agriculture, or Vocational Course in Ag.
* For B.Sc. in Horticulture applicant must have done Biological or Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Agriculture, Vocational Course in Agriculture
* For the B.V.Sc. & A.H. the applicant must have done Physical Sciences, Natural Sciences or Biological
* For the B.F.Sc. the applicant must have done Biological or Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Vocational Course in Fishery Sciences
* For the B.Tech in Food Science applicant must have done Math, Physical Sciences or Biological or Natural Sciences
* For the B.Sc.in CA & BM the aspirant should have studied Math, Physical Sciences or Biological or Natural Sciences or Physical Sciences.
* For B.Sc. in Horticulture applicant must have done Biological or Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Agriculture, Vocational Course in Agriculture
* For the B.V.Sc. & A.H. the applicant must have done Physical Sciences, Natural Sciences or Biological
* For the B.F.Sc. the applicant must have done Biological or Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Vocational Course in Fishery Sciences
* For the B.Tech in Food Science applicant must have done Math, Physical Sciences or Biological or Natural Sciences
* For the B.Sc.in CA & BM the aspirant should have studied Math, Physical Sciences or Biological or Natural Sciences or Physical Sciences.

The applicant must have passed the Inter exam with
Chemistry, Physics and Biology Botany or Zoology or Biotechnology and English
with 50% of marks.
The
aspirant applying for BAMS/BNYS/ BHMS:
*
The candidate must have qualified the Inter exam
with Chemistry,
Physics and Botany and Zoology as an optional subject.
The
applicant applying for B.Pharmacy:
*
The applicant must have passed Inter
exam with Physics, Biology and Chemistry optional conducted by AP board with at
least of 45% of marks.
The
candidate applying for Pharm.D for M.P.C
and for Bi.P.C:
* The aspirant must have passed the 12th
with physics, Chemistry and Math or Biology as an optional and must have done
diploma in pharmacy that is conducted by APSBTET (Andhra Pradesh State Board of
Technical Education and Training) and must have attained 45% of marks.
Age Criteria: The applicant applying for B.Tech in
Dairy Technology or B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering or B.Tech in FST and or
B.Sc. in CA & BM or MBBS or BDS or Pharm.D. The
aspirant must have completed the age of 17 yrs as on 31st Dec of the

applicant applying for BNYS must have not attained the age of
22 years. The candidate applying for B.Pharmacy
must have completed the age of 16 yrs.
Application Fees: The fee has to be paid in form
of Mee Seva centres or AP online centres or e-seva centres or payment gateway
debit or credit card.
Selection Procedure: The
applicant will have the weightage in the examination on qualifying the EAMCET.
Procedure to Apply: Engineering ‘E’ & Agriculture and Medicine
‘AM’ streams. Aspirants having Math, Physics, Chemistry or Bio-Tech or Biology
as an optional subjects in Inter must submit ‘E’ stream online application for
Engineering B.E or B.Tech or B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering or B.Tech in
Dairy Technology or B.Tech in FST or B.Sc. in CA & BM or MPC or B.Pharm in
MPC or Pharm.D in MPC courses. The aspirant with Biology, Physics &
Chemistry as an optional subject in inter must submit ‘AM’ stream online
application for B.Sc. in Agriculture or B.Sc. in Horticulture or B.V.Sc. &
AH or B.F.Sc. or B.Tech in FST or B.Sc. in CA &BM or MBBS or BDS or BAMS or
BHMS or BNYS or B.Pharm or B.Tech in Bio-Technology or Bi.P.C or Pharm.D Bi.P.C
courses.
Exam Pattern: The exam
pattern differs as per the examination option opted by the applicant. The
course wise details can be seen from the official website of the EAMCET.
Syllabus: The
examination syllabus differs as per the course choices it’s the applicants
choice and applicant has to prepare accordingly as per 10+2 pattern. Applicants
are requested o visit the official site for detailed syllabus of the
examination.
