Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is intending to hire services of Apprentice for
its refinery at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Eligible candidates having prescribed qualification
and accomplishing the other requisite criteria can apply online. The appointed
Apprentices will be required to undergo Apprenticeship Training. The details of

Place of Work: Mathura Refinery, IOCL
Designation & Classification of Posts:
1. Trade Apprentice
(i) Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) – 21 Posts
(ii) Fitter (Mechanical) – 08 Posts
2. Technical Apprentice
(i) Chemical – 14 Posts
(ii) Electrical – 12 Posts
(iii) Mechanical – 04 Posts

Essential Qualification:
1. Trade Apprentice
(i) Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) – 3 years Full-Time B.Sc. (Physics /Maths/ Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).
(ii) Fitter (Mechanical) – Matriculate with 2- year ITI in Fitter trade.
2. Technical Apprentice - 3 years Full-Time Diploma in Chemical / Refinery & Petrochemicals / Electrical / Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering.
Age Restriction: Candidate belonging to the category of unreserved/ General should be in the age group between 18 and 26 years as on 31st March 2016. Higher limit of age in respect of reserved category will be as follows-

Lump sum Stipend payable: The disbursement of fixed consolidated remuneration to be paid to appointed Apprentices will be as follows-
Rs. 8,435/- p.m. in the first year & Rs. 9,283/- p.m. in the 2nd year in case of Trade Apprentice (Attendant Operator – Chemical Plant)
Rs 10131 /- per month for all other posts
Norms of Hiring: Selection process involves the following stages of appointment –
(i) Written Test,
(ii) Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test,
(iii) Pre-employment Medical Examination
Applicants will be required to qualify each stage of selection process.
